13th November 2014

Today Rob came into our class to help us with the jokes and audience interaction and characterization of certain characters. This was supposed to happen in robs lesson on the Wednesday but because of only a couple of us turning up, I asked rob would he be able to attend Thursdays lesson to help with everything.  We started to run act one and straight from the start rob really helped picked up the energy of the show by  interacting us on stage. Rob also helped by adding some jokes and highlighting specific movements to stand and and really help with the character.

We also During the lesson defiantly found out that Robia would not be coming back to college and therefore would not be performing luckily Tracy had already asked Elliot . I was happy about this due to having worked with Elliot before and know that he would put in the effort needed and would play the role well.

Overall I think this lesson went well because it gave everyone a proper feel of what it was like to have an audience and also helped people with there characters.

11th November 2014

Today I wasn't able to do the rehearsal do to having a dentist appointment but before i left i gave out the rehearsal schedule that we all agreed on.

While I missed the rehearsal I will defiantly get ask for someone to teach me the dance to zippardy doo daa before the next lesson.

Thursday 6th November 2014

Today we Run the whole of act 1 without using any scripts firstly it started off quite well due to us having rehearsed the first scene so many times. But after the first couple of pages it was obvious that people didn't fully know there lines this slowed down the flow of the run and also we had to start and stop because people blocking was off and people forgetting where to move and how they would move around the stage with each other and on there own.

At the end of the lesson Tracy spoke to us about how she wasn't happy with some people performances due to people not knowing there lines and also needing to improve on there characterization skills. Some people in the class didn't agree with what Tracy was saying. But I believe that people do need to start plucking up with there idea's and also putting the effort in with there characters. I am starting to get stressed about the panto because I am putting allot of effort in with lighting and lines, but other people don't seem to be trying as hard.

Panto Rehearsal 23rd October 2014

 Today was Review week so we went over and practised and started to create the ballet dance of lady in red with mandy . everyone who turned up to lesson each put in a dance move , i added a rise and then we started to create the chorus of lady in red. once we created the chorus bit for lady in red we kept going over and over it and working on the technique. The important things to remember are to point my toes maintain my turnout and the correct hand positions.

Today we Started to Block Act 2 and working on the entrances and the exits of the characters and also how they should move around the stage we also went over how people should be talking to the audience and each other and other basic acting skills. I think today did help people realise and concentrate more on moving around the stage. I did have to leave early due to Les Miserables rehearsals.

panto rehearsal 9th October 2014

In today's lesson we ran act 1 with the blocking this did allow me to get further on in my blocking in the script but did take more time because of the rehearsal director not writing down my  blocking i had to go back and go other some things with Tracy in the scenes we were working on. I believe it went well but i do have cause for concern for the dances. Half way thought the lesson i had to leave because of Les Miserables rehearsals.

Panto Rehearsal 2nd October 2014

Today I was only in for half the Lesson due to Les Miserables Rehearsals But the time I was in we started to block act 1 I enter from stage left talking to the wings then notice red riding hood , I wasn't sure that this would look right but wouldn't no how it would look till later on in the rehearsal process. Then stay in center stage and talk the Red and Jack and Jill. once finished there i exit dsr. The i sat down and highlighted my lines while waiting to go on again sadly i had to leave before my next bit in the script.
